The Busy Town by Richard Scarry is a classic picture book from Gyldendal, now in a newly translated edition. The hardcover book has 96 pages filled with bustling illustrations of the animals who live in the town.
Children meet the doctor, carpenter, electrician, road workers and firefighters, and see how each of them helps keep the town running. Along the way, they travel by plane, train and boat. The book also explains how a house is built and how flour is turned into bread.
Gyldendal recommends the book for children aged 2–5. It’s perfect for sharing and browsing through together, again and again.
