Delivery and Shipping Rates
We ship regular packages with GLS and DAO. To make it as flexible as possible for you, you can choose from several different shipping methods:
Delivery to GLS parcel shop DKK 39,- (Free shipping for purchases over DKK 499,-)
Delivery to business address DKK 49,-
Delivery to private address DKK 59,-
Delivery with Danske Fragtmænd DKK 350,-
When you choose delivery to a parcel shop/pickup location, the package will be delivered directly there and you must bring valid ID to collect your package. You will be notified via SMS/email when the package is ready for pickup. Note! If there is no space for more packages in the chosen parcel shop/pickup location, the package will be delivered to the nearest available parcel shop/pickup location. This is especially relevant during Black Friday and Christmas.
Delivery to DAO Parcel Shop
If you choose delivery to a DAO parcel shop, the package will be delivered directly there and you will receive both an SMS and an email from DAO with a pickup code once your package is ready for collection.
Private packages and packages for business addresses:
Deliveries of private and business packages with GLS on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. You will receive an SMS/email notifying you of the time frame during which the package is expected to be delivered. If no one is present to receive the package, you can redirect/give permission to leave the package via the email from GLS. You cannot write this in the comment field when placing your order. Otherwise, the package will be delivered to a parcel shop/pickup location where it can be collected within 10 weekdays.

DAO Home Delivery (daoHOME)
Packages are delivered to your address every day, including weekends. DAO prefers to deliver the package in your mailbox. If the package is too large for the mailbox, it will be placed in a plastic bag at the door or another secure location at the address. If deemed too insecure, DAO will take the package to the nearest DAO parcel shop. When the package is delivered, you will receive an email/SMS shortly afterward. Note that DAO often delivers between 1:00 AM and 9:00 AM, hence couriers are not allowed to use doorbells or intercoms. By choosing daoHOME, you agree that DAO can deliver the package without acknowledgment. Packages over approximately 50 cm and packages weighing over 3 kg will be sent to a parcel shop, regardless of the delivery method chosen.
Pickup at our warehouse in Hornbæk
Pick up your items at our warehouse in Hornbæk and save on shipping. Orders and payments MUST be made via the website in the usual way. You will receive an email from us when your order is ready for collection. We pack orders Monday-Friday.
If your package can fit in our outdoor locker, you will receive an email with a pin code and barcode so you can pick up your package at your convenience around the clock.
Packages that cannot fit in our locker can be collected at the following times:
Mon-Thu 9-15:30
Friday 9-15
Weekends and public holidays closed
Danske Fragtmænd
Furniture and other heavy items are delivered by Danske Fragtmænd within Denmark's borders. We will contact you to arrange the delivery day. Delivery takes place between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays. Your order will be delivered to the curbside or street level and will not be carried into your delivery address. This applies even if an agreement has been made to "leave it". You are responsible for disposing of pallets and other packaging materials related to the delivery.
Failed Delivery
If you are not home on the agreed delivery day, Danske Fragtmænd will return the shipment to their central warehouse, and you will have to pay a shipping fee for re-delivery.
We are happy to send your package abroad. The shipping price varies from country to country and will be shown on the website once you have added items to your cart, proceed to payment, and select "shipping method".
Our free shipping offer does NOT apply to orders sent abroad. We do not ship furniture or items that require a freight carrier to other countries.
All international shipments are sent with GLS and delivered by the respective partners in different countries. Packages to Greenland and the Faroe Islands are sent by sea unless otherwise agreed.
VAT
If you reside outside the EU, our shop system does not automatically deduct Danish VAT. The amount will be manually refunded to the card you used for the purchase. This will happen no later than a few weekdays after the dispatch of your package. If additional duties, taxes or possible local charges are levied in the chosen destination country, you are responsible for settling them. Lirum Larum Leg is not involved in this process.

You cannot cancel by simply refusing to accept the item without also providing us with a clear notice. A fee for return shipping, which is currently DKK 75,- for parcel shop/business package and DKK 75,- for delivery to private addresses, will be charged upon return. Return shipping is charged regardless of package size or number of items. The remaining amount on the order will be refunded to the card used during the purchase. If a package is returned without it being due to any fault of Lirum Larum Leg, for instance, if you did not pick up the package at the parcel shop, and you still want the item delivered, Lirum Larum Leg is entitled to charge you the cost for re-sending it.
Delivery Time
At Lirum Larum Leg, we strive for quick delivery and dispatch in-stock items within 1-3 weekdays. All orders placed before 12:00 PM on weekdays are generally dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM will be sent on the next weekday.
If you need the items by a specific date, feel free to write it under "comments", and we will do our best to deliver them by the desired date. We stock all the items found on our website except for certain furniture which is sent directly from our supplier, potentially extending delivery times. This will be indicated in the product description under the selected item. Occasionally, some items may experience extra delivery time due to stock errors. In such cases, we will contact you.
Delivery to non-bridge-connected islands such as Anholt, Bornholm, and Læsø: 2-3 weekdays
