Delivery and Shipping Rates
We send regular packages with GLS and DAO. To make it as flexible as possible for you, you can choose from several different shipping methods:
Delivery to GLS parcel shop DKK 39,- (Free shipping on purchases over DKK 499,-)
Delivery to business address DKK 49,-
Delivery to private address DKK 59,-
Delivery with Danske Fragtmænd DKK 399,-
If you choose delivery to a parcel shop/pick-up point, the package will be delivered directly there, and you must bring valid ID to pick up your package. You will be notified via SMS/email when the package is ready for collection. NOTE! If there is no room for more packages at the chosen parcel shop/pick-up point, the package will be delivered to the nearest available parcel shop/pick-up point. This is especially relevant during Black Friday and Christmas.
Delivery to DAO Parcel Shop
If you choose delivery to a DAO parcel shop, the package will be delivered directly there, and you will receive an SMS and an email from DAO with a collection code when the package is ready for collection.
Private packages and packages to business addresses:
Delivery of private and business packages with GLS on weekdays between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. You will receive an SMS/email with information on when the package is expected to be delivered. If no one is present to receive the package, you can redirect/give permission to leave the package via the email from GLS. You cannot write this in the comments field when placing your order. Otherwise, the package will be delivered to a parcel shop/pick-up point where it can be collected within 10 weekdays.

DAO Home Delivery (daoHOME)
The package is delivered to your address every day including weekends. DAO prefers to deliver the package to your mailbox. If the package is too large for the mailbox, it will be placed in a plastic bag by the door or another secure location at the address. If judged too insecure, DAO will take the package to the nearest DAO parcel shop. Once the package is delivered, you will receive an email/SMS shortly thereafter. Please note that DAO often delivers between 1:00 AM and 9:00 AM, hence the couriers should not use the doorbell or intercom. By choosing daoHOME, you agree that DAO delivers the package without a receipt.
Packages over approximately 50 cm and weighing over 3 kg will be sent to a parcel shop, regardless of the chosen delivery method.
Pick Up at our warehouse in Hornbæk
Pick up your goods at our warehouse in Hornbæk. Save on shipping costs. Ordering and payment MUST be made via the website in the usual way. You will receive an email from us when your order is ready for collection. We pack orders Monday-Friday.
If your package can fit in our outdoor parcel locker, you will receive an email with a code and barcode so you can collect your package at your convenience, 24/7.
Packages that cannot fit in our parcel locker can be collected at the following times
Monday-Thursday 9-3:30 PM
Friday 9-3 PM
Weekends and holidays closed
Danske Fragtmænd
Furniture and other heavy items are delivered by Danske Fragtmænd within Denmark. We will contact you to arrange delivery day. Delivery takes place between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays. Your order will be delivered to the curb or street level and will not be carried into your delivery address. This also applies if you agree to "leave it". You are responsible for disposing of pallets and other packaging related to the delivery.
Failed Delivery
If you are not home on the agreed delivery day, Danske Fragtmænd will return the shipment to their central warehouse, and you will incur a shipping fee for redeivery.
We gladly send your package abroad. The shipping cost varies from country to country and will be displayed on the website after you have placed items in your cart, proceed to checkout, and at "delivery method".
Our free shipping offer does NOT apply to orders sent abroad. We do not ship furniture or other items that require freight delivery abroad.
All international shipments are sent with GLS and are delivered by their respective partners in each country. Packages to Greenland and the Faroe Islands are sent by ship unless otherwise agreed.
VAT
If you reside outside the EU, our webshop system does not automatically deduct Danish VAT. The amount will be refunded manually to the card you used at purchase. This will be done no later than a few weekdays after your package is shipped. If extra customs, VAT, or local taxes are charged in the recipient country, you are responsible for settling this. Lirum Larum Leg is not involved with this process.

You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the item without also giving us clear notice of this. For returns, a return shipping fee applies, which is currently DKK 75,- for parcel shop/business packages and DKK 75,- for delivery to private. The return shipping fee is charged regardless of package size or number of items. The remaining amount of the order is refunded to the card used for payment upon purchase. If a package is returned, not due to Lirum Larum Leg's own circumstances, for example, if you did not pick up the package in the parcel shop, and you still want the item delivered, Lirum Larum Leg is entitled to charge you for the cost of reshipping.
Delivery Time
At Lirum Larum Leg, we strive for fast delivery and ship stock items within 1-3 weekdays. All orders placed before 12:00 noon on weekdays are usually shipped the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 noon are sent the next weekday.
If you need the items by a specific date, please write it in "comments", and we will do everything we can to get them to you by the desired date. We stock all the items you find on our website except for certain furniture, which are sent directly from our supplier, possibly extending delivery time. This is indicated in the product description of the selected product. It may occur that certain items are out of stock due to inventory errors, and extra delivery time is needed. In that case, we will contact you.
Delivery to non-bridge connected islands like Anholt, Bornholm, and Læsø: 2-3 weekdays
