Here you can find answers to a variety of the most common questions.

What is your delivery time?

If you place your order on a weekday before 12:00 PM, we'll usually ship it the same day. Orders received after 12:00 PM are dispatched the next business day. If you order after 12:00 PM on a Friday or over the weekend, your package will be sent on the next business day.

During sale periods, please expect a slightly longer delivery time for packages shipped from or for collection at our warehouse.

Once your order is on its way, you'll receive an email with a Track & Trace number from your selected carrier, so you can easily follow your shipment. For items delivered by freight carrier, please allow an extra 1-3 days for delivery.

When will my order be shipped?

As a rule, we always dispatch your order within 24 hours, but during campaigns or similar events, there might be additional delivery time. If your order has an extended delivery time, it will be indicated on the website.

Do you offer Click & Collect?

Yes, you can pick up your order yourself at our warehouse located at Engholmvej 16, 3100 Hornbæk. Place your order online and select Click & Collect. You will receive an email once your order is ready for pickup. If your order is placed in our outdoor parcel box, you will receive an email with a PIN code and a barcode that you need to open the box, allowing you to collect your order around the clock.

Packages not located in our parcel box can be collected at the following times:

Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Can I have a gift sent directly to the recipient?

We send gifts directly to the recipient daily, and you simply choose the desired delivery address. We beautifully wrap packages for just 15 DKK each, and remember, you can order a personal message on a card. We refrain from including the invoice when we notice a personal message has been ordered on a card.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

We offer elegant and professional gift wrapping with our exclusive wrapping paper and ribbon for 10 DKK per package. Please note that furniture and certain other items are not wrapped due to their size and weight.

I have purchased a piece of furniture - when will it be delivered?

We offer various delivery times and shipping methods for our furniture, as they are often sent directly from the supplier. The specific delivery conditions are detailed on the product. If you're still unsure, please contact us.

What is dropshipping?

Dropshipping means you order a product through us, but it is delivered directly from our supplier. We will contact you if necessary regarding delivery.

How long do I have to make a return?

We normally offer a 100-day return/exchange policy. If you're ordering a gift in advance, feel free to note the date the gift will be given in the comments field when placing your order. This way, the 100-day return/exchange policy will begin from that date. You can read more about how to return items here.

How can I exchange an item I purchased myself?

We do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different item, simply place a new order for it. Find out how to return your item here. Please note, exchanges are not available—just place a separate order for any new items you wish to purchase.

How do I exchange a gift I've received?

We do not offer exchanges, so if you wish to have a different item, please place a new order separately. Then, return the gift. The money for the gift will be refunded to you through your own order. If you do not want a different item, you can either receive a gift certificate or the money will be refunded to the buyer's card. You can read about how to return your items here.

Haven't received an order confirmation?

The order confirmation is sent to you automatically after your purchase, so it should be with you within a maximum of 10 minutes after ordering.

If you haven’t received it, there are typically two possible reasons:

- You might have entered an incorrect email. If that's the case, contact us, and we’ll correct it for you.

- Especially if you use Hotmail, Gmail, or iCloud, the spam filters are strong and might filter out an order confirmation. Therefore, check your spam folder or junk mail. If you find it there, right-click on our email address and add us to your contact list. This will ensure you also receive notifications about your order shipment and receipt of your purchase.

How can I get a discount with Ældresagen?

As a member of Ældresagen, you can enjoy a discount when shopping at Lirum Larum Leg. To receive the discount, you need to obtain a discount code here. Then, enter the discount code in the discount code field when you proceed to checkout.

Can I save my shopping cart and make additional purchases later?

No, the item is only reserved once you proceed to checkout and pay for it.

I placed an order a few hours ago, but I forgot an item. Can you add it to my order?

Call our customer service at 70269890, and we'll check the status of your order for you.

Is it possible to have multiple orders shipped together to save on shipping costs?

If you place two orders within a short time frame, our system will automatically consolidate your orders. One shipping fee will then be manually refunded to you. However, please be aware that we cannot always guarantee this. To be completely sure, feel free to contact our customer service.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters, you can easily unsubscribe here

Can I pre-order or reserve an out-of-stock item?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer pre-orders or reservations for a sold-out item.

I have received a defective item. What should I do?

If you happen to receive a defective item, please take pictures of the defect/damage and any damaged packaging. Then, promptly file a claim here app.claimlane.com/c/lirumlarumleg-dk

Can I personally return items at your warehouse?

You are welcome to return items directly to our warehouse. If you would like to exchange, please place an online order for the items you wish to receive and choose Click & Collect. Once you have received an email confirming that your order is ready for pickup, bring along the item you wish to return together with the completed return form.

We will charge the amount for the new order and refund the amount for the returned item 1-2 days after receipt, except after Christmas and/or during sales periods; in these cases, it may take 5-10 business days.

Do you have a physical store where I can see and purchase the products?

We do not have a physical store, but we offer Click & Collect, allowing you to pick up your order at our warehouse in Hornbæk.

Why am I asked to enter my NemID/MitID?

As of January 1, 2021, additional security measures have been implemented for online card payments. These enhancements are mandated by the EU's Second Payment Services Directive and the Danish Payment Act. The objective is to reduce the misuse of payment cards, thereby offering you better protection when shopping online.

This means all purchases must be approved with one of the following additional security factors:

Approval with NemID/MitID
We recommend that you use the NemID app and key card. However, NemID key displays can also be used. The paper key card can no longer be used for online purchases.

SMS and Password
It will still be possible to approve purchases with a one-time code via SMS, but this requires you to also provide a password, which you can set up here

Order Placement for Institutions/Municipalities

You will place an order through the website as usual. Enter the institution's EAN number when you fill out the customer information. Then, select EAN invoice as the payment method. The email address entered on the order must be the institution's email address. You will receive an electronic invoice within a few days.

How do I pay with a gift card?

Your gift card comes with a code that should be entered in the "GAVEKORT" field on the checkout page. The amount on your gift card will then be automatically deducted.

If you don't use the entire amount, simply save the gift card for your next purchase.

Trading from a non-EU country

I am ordering from a non-EU country and should not be charged Danish VAT. So why is 25% VAT added to my order?The system automatically includes a 25% VAT with every order. This amount will be refunded to you once your order has shipped. Please note, you are responsible for settling any customs duties and VAT with GLS when collecting your package. Lirum Larum Leg is not involved in this process.

Is it safe to shop at Lirum Larum Leg?

Shopping at Lirum Larum Leg is completely secure. When you pay with a card, the transaction is conducted through a secure page, as all communication between our payment system and the cardholder is done via an encrypted SSL connection (Secure Socket Layer).
