Tomorrow, April 21, 2026, is not just another day for us. It's the day Lirum Larum Leg turns 20 years old. Looking back, there’s a special feeling in our hearts. Because this isn't merely a webshop with toys – it’s 20 years of experience, thousands of children's laughter, and a strong community with you, who have been with us all the way.
How It All Began
The story of Lirum Larum Leg begins with Anja – and a life she was deeply involved in. As a mother of four children, two boys, and two girls, her daily life was filled with play, creativity, and the need for toys that truly endure and can be reused time and again. In other words, she knows a thing or two about what works – both practically and within a child's imaginative universe.
Like many other parents, she found it challenging to find toys that were appealing, high-quality, and inspirational for play and engagement. A place was missing where the selection was carefully curated and where parents could feel confident in their choices.
This was the beginning of Lirum Larum Leg.
With a desire to make it easier for other families to find great toys, Anja started building the magical universe that has become a staple for many families today. A place where experience, thoughtfulness, and a love for children's play are evident in everything we choose.
And then, of course, there's our giraffe, who has been with us almost since the beginning. Today, it's become our symbol – curious, friendly, and with a great overview.
We are thorough, we examine things carefully, and sometimes we might get a bit long-necked in our eagerness to find the perfect products for you. It’s part of our charm – and part of the care we put into everything.
