Sophie la girafe is an award-winning French baby toy with over 50 million sold worldwide. It's a "must-have" toy for every baby.
Sophie la girafe is perfect as "My First Toy," as it stimulates all 5 senses right from the age of 3 months. The giraffe is made from 100% pure natural rubber harvested from the hevea tree and colored with non-toxic plant-based dyes.
The 5 Senses.
Vision: At 3 months old, a baby's vision is limited, so they best perceive contrasts. The dark and contrasting spots on the giraffe's body stimulate vision and quickly become a familiar and soothing object.
Hearing: The giraffe has a built-in squeaker that little ones love to be entertained by. Initially, this sound will stimulate hearing, and later it will help the child understand the concept of cause and effect.
Taste: Hevea rubber has a mildly calming effect and soothes sore gums.
Touch: The sense of touch is the first sense your baby develops with the outside world—outside of mom's womb. The soft material from which the giraffe is made feels just like mom's skin, enhancing physiological and emotional bonding through touch.
Smell: The unique scent of pure hevea rubber makes Sophie la girafe very special for your baby and easy to recognize among all other toys.
Comes packaged in a lovely gift box. Perfect as a maternity or christening gift idea.
