This bed is a contemporary take on the iconic Juno seng, to which Sebra holds exclusive rights, and is renowned as the “Sebra seng – der vokser med barnet”.

Sebra seng, baby & Jr., stands as a Danish design icon, proven by generations since architect Viggo Einfeldt first sketched its lines more than 80 years ago.

The classic, enduring design of Sebra sengen evolves alongside your child thanks to its adjustable base and extension function, allowing the crib to be used from newborn to junior. A beautiful design piece combining outstanding functionality, adaptability, and timeless aesthetics.

Combination Options:
Babyseng 1: Cot with two rail sides and the base placed in the highest position — used from birth until your baby is able to sit up unaided.

Babyseng 2: Cot with two rail sides and the base in the lowest position IMPORTANT! The lowest base position is always the safest. Adjust to this setting as soon as your child can sit up independently.

Tumlingeseng: Cot with one or no rail sides and the base in the lowest position — for when your child can climb out of the bed independently.

Juniorseng: Extended and with no rails — for when your child has outgrown the cot.

Material: The bed is crafted from beech wood and finished with a water-based lacquer. It is tested and approved in accordance with the European safety standard DS/EN716 for child beds. The bed carries the EU-Blomsten certification. EU-Blomsten is a voluntary ecolabel awarded to products and services that meet high environmental criteria throughout their entire lifecycle: from raw material extraction to manufacturing, distribution, and disposal.

This bed is suitable for up to 15 kg in the highest base position, and up to 80 kg in the lowest.

You can purchase a matching mattress — search for 200530008. The mattress is made from Øko-tex certified cold foam, topped with a linen layer on both sides to help absorb and wick away moisture. The cover is 100% cotton, removable, and washable at 60°C. Mattress dimensions: W: 70 x L: 112.5 x H: 8 cm, plus a matching extension: W: 70 x L: 42.5 x H: 8 cm.
