Sebra Bed, Baby and Junior - Birchbark Rose

The Sebra bed, Baby and Jr. - Birchbark Rose is a beautiful classic children's bed from Sebra designed for the modern family. This bed is an updated model of the iconic Juno bed, and uniquely, Sebra has acquired the exclusive rights to the original Juno bed. This model is an updated version of the design classic, known as "The Sebra Bed - that grows with the child".

For generations, Danes have purchased and used the original Juno bed, which stands today as a design icon, forming part of Denmark's cultural heritage. With the acquisition of the rights to the Juno bed, Sebra aims to preserve and continue Viggo Einfeldt’s original unique design while updating the bed to meet today's safety standards.

"The Sebra Bed - that grows with the child" is a timeless and beautifully designed crib with a unique exterior. The bed offers several combination options and can grow with your child as they develop. It is equipped with cot sides and an adjustable base, and can later be extended and used as a junior bed.

Combination Options:
Baby Bed 1: Baby bed with two cot sides and the base in the upper position - from birth until the child can sit up unaided.

Baby Bed 2: Baby bed with two cot sides and the base in the lowest position IMPORTANT! The lowest base position is the safest. The base should always be in the lowest position as soon as the child is old enough to sit up.

Toddler Bed: Baby bed with one cot side or without cot sides, and the base in the lowest position - from when the child can climb out of bed by themselves.

Junior Bed: Extended, without rails - When the child can no longer fit in the baby bed.

Material: The bed is made of birch wood and painted with water-based lacquer. It has been tested and approved in accordance with the European safety standard DS/EN716 for cribs. The bed is EU-Flower certified. The EU-Flower is a voluntary labeling scheme awarded to products and services that meet high environmental standards throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution, and disposal.

The bed is designed for a maximum of 15 kg in the upper base position and 80 kg in the lower.

Mattress can be purchased separately - search for 200530008. The mattress is made from Oeko-Tex certified cold foam with a linen layer on both sides to absorb and wick away moisture. The cover is 100% cotton and can be removed and washed at 60 degrees. Dimensions: W: 70 x L: 112.5 x H: 8 cm, and it comes with an extension piece measuring W: 70 x L: 42.5 x H: 8 cm.
