The basket is made from the natural and eco-friendly material raffia, and includes a practical small pocket inside for essentials. Measures 18 x 30 x 28 cm. 

Note: All RICE woven baskets are handmade from Raffia, which naturally varies in color. This variation is also reflected in the dyeing process, meaning sometimes the colors are light, other times more intense. This ensures that no two baskets are exactly alike. The same applies to the shape, where slight differences may also be found. We believe it adds to the charm, showcasing that the product is handmade. 

About the material: Raffia fibers are a fantastic natural material derived from palm leaves. Rices raffia comes from Madagascar. All raffia products are made with heart—produced in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar, supporting better resources and opportunities for the residents. The production sustains more than 300 families on the Red Island. Since raffia is a natural material and the baskets are handmade, each product will vary slightly in color, shape, and size. Colors will fade if the product is exposed to constant sunlight.
