A large footboard makes a significant difference – especially downhill. Here, the child can place their feet low and centrally, ensuring a low center of gravity and stable riding. Without a footboard, the feet are lifted high, which can make the bike unstable.

This pedal-less 2-wheeled balance bike has quickly become the replacement for the training wheel phase. With a balance bike, the child learns to maintain balance while keeping both feet on the ground. They gain an understanding that a bike can tip over and do not develop a "false sense of security" with training wheels. What's the difference between a balance bike with pneumatic tires and one with EVA foam tires?
A balance bike with EVA foam is suitable for indoor use but can also be used outdoors. Foam tires prevent punctures and eliminate the need to inflate the tires. A balance bike with common pneumatic tires rolls more easily and is ideal for use on asphalt. A bike with pneumatic tires is lighter than a bike with solid wheels.
