Here are some useful tips for the steps that might be tricky for some:
Are the hex screws a bit tricky to turn in, am I doing it right?
Start with the long end of the Allen key and make sure to apply firm pressure. When the screw starts to "bite" and becomes tough to turn, switch to the short end for more leverage. It’s okay if they start a bit crooked – once tightened fully, they'll straighten out.
Is the door not closing?
You might have placed the pillar in the wrong hole at the bottom of the door. We've got a handy guide to help you sort it out!
Do the holes not align with the corner brackets?
Begin with the two holes furthest away, insert and half-tighten the screws. Do the same with the other two, but leave them slightly loose too. Once all screws are in place, tighten them fully, and the bracket will pull into place, helping align the cabinet.
Is the inside door catch stiff or difficult to use?
You might have tightened it too much. Loosen the two screws holding it ever so slightly – that should help.
Do the doors look a bit crooked?
Make sure to place the washers on the lower door pillars first, as this helps even out gaps. If there are still gaps, it’s likely because the floor is slightly uneven. Use the adjustable feet to get the cabinet perfectly level.
