What is Lilliputiens?

Lilliputiens is a toy brand founded in Belgium in 1995, and ever since, it has created a truly distinctive world of play where imagination, curiosity, and learning through play are always at the heart of the experience.

Here, toys are much more than just something your child plays with – they are miniature worlds simply waiting to be explored. A rattle may hide a cheerful sound, an activity book can reveal new surprises with every turn of the page, and the beloved Lilliputiens characters often become trusted companions in your child’s everyday adventures.

The world of the brand is colorful, inviting, and brimming with humor and charming, playful details. Here, children are introduced to characters such as the lion Jack, the dog Jules, the cat Jeanne, and the unicorn Lena, who reappear across different products. This creates a sense of familiarity and lets your child build on their play every time a familiar face shows up – whether in a book, on a rattle, or as a new friend at bath time.

Lilliputiens – a playful universe filled with little stories

At Lilliputiens, a child's curiosity is a key driving force in play. The toys invite exploration, testing, and discovery: What might be hiding behind the flap? What sound does it make when I shake it? Can the figure float in the bathtub? And how does the playful surface feel? It's these little discoveries that make the universe exciting for babies and young children.

Lilliputiens also emphasizes creativity, development, quality, and thoughtful design. Play should ideally stimulate a child's senses and imagination, allowing space to develop motor skills at their own pace. This is why many of the products are filled with diverse textures, colors, sounds, movable parts, and little activities that a child can return to again and again.

It's a universe where there's room for a little roar, a splash in the bathtub, and a story that changes each time it's told. And perhaps that's what makes Lilliputiens so charming: The toys offer something to discover while letting the child decide where the play leads.

Lilliputiens baby toys for those first little discoveries

Good baby toys don't need to do a multitude of things at once. For a little one, an interesting surface, a sound, or something easy to grip can be enough to spark curiosity.

Lilliputiens baby toys are designed with exactly this type of play in mind. In the collection, you will find rattles, grasping toys, activity toys, comfort cloths, rattles, activity books, and musical toys. Various shapes, colors, sounds, and textures provide an opportunity for the baby to explore the toys with their hands, eyes, and ears.

When a baby reaches for a rattle, turns a page in a soft book, or tries to grab a small detail, the play becomes a natural way to practice hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
