Note: All RICE baskets are handmade from Raffia, which naturally varies in color, and this variation is reflected in the dyeing process. Sometimes the dye may be light, other times more intense. This means that no two baskets are exactly alike. The same applies to the shape, which may show slight differences as well. We believe this is part of the charm, showcasing the product's handmade quality. If you order several baskets at once, we will send the baskets that are closest in shade and form. Unfortunately, we cannot provide photos of the different variants.

About the material: Raffia fibers are a wonderful natural material, sourced from palm leaves, with Rice’s raffia originating from Madagascar. All raffia products are crafted with care—they are produced in two villages in Madagascar's mountains, where production contributes to better resources for the village inhabitants. The production supports more than 300 families on the Red Island. Since raffia is a natural material and the baskets are handmade, each product will vary slightly in color, shape, and size. Colors may fade if the product is exposed to constant sunlight. Avoid water, as it can cause colors to bleed.
