The Story Behind the Support Bracelet:
The bracelets are woven by Jette Gregersen and her team of volunteers. Jette is the mother of Emma, who has known the hospital clowns throughout her childhood, and now Jette wants to give back—so she crafts these delightful bracelets, which have been sold in several hospitals in Jutland to benefit Danske Hospitalsklovne. Over the years, the sales have amounted to thousands of bracelets, contributing nearly 1,000,000 DKK to the work of the hospital clowns. All materials are sponsored by Jette’s employer Creativ Company—ensuring that all 20 DKK goes directly to the good cause. There may be slight size variations in the bracelets depending on who made them, but they should fit most children comfortably...

The association Danske Hospitalsklovne supports clowns whose daily work involves visiting Danish hospitals to bring smiles, laughter, and joy to children whose lives are often overshadowed by seriousness and illness. With humor, presence, and imagination, they strive to make the hospital stay more bearable and also help empower the child to better manage their situation.
